In November 2021, Aunt Kay's made its first sale: a loaf of Cinnamon Bread and a box of Chocolate Chip Cookies. Our business has grown by leaps and bounds ever since, adding new products to our menu, along with new customers and friends to our following. But there is a lot more to the story than our sales growth. It's an adventure about a rich and complex life journey that includes romance, magic, balloons and fun. It's a 50-year-old tale based in our Ann Arbor roots and all the fellow townies we've known. It's a narrative filled with the love of family and the love of baking. And it's certainly an inspirational saga founded in the passion behind a woman-owned small business. We are pleased to share our story in this souvenir booklet that pairs well with any of our home-baked goodies.
